CIHT South West are delighted to offer this webinar on transport decarbonisation with Keith Mitchell, Director of Transport and Place at Stantec.
The ambitious Bridging the Gap study undertaken by Stantec and Decarbon8 has recently been published. The study suggests the need for a systemic shift in the way we travel if the UK is to achieve its net zero mobility targets and outlines the gap between what can be achieved by following current government decarbonisation policy.
What do you see when you picture the community of tomorrow? Should we expect places to stay the same? What is your take on climate change the need to decarbonise the transport network? What systemic changes are needed? What are the barriers to change? How can we create a future that society is willing to buy into? What do we, as professional transport planners, need to change in our work to create more effective plans for the future?
Find out more on Bridging the gap and join the debate in this 60-minute webinar.
This event is for anyone interested in decarbonisation and working in or with the highways and transport industry.

This work was delivered through an Impact Acceleration partnership with the University of Leeds.
