This webinar will provide attendees with a better understanding of how to undertake a Strategic Environmental Assessment, using the Nestrans Regional Transport Strategy. The webinar aims to help those working towards chartership by focusing on the core competency, A7 Developing strategic and master plans for transport.
The session will look at how the SEA informed the development of the RTS, the problems and opportunities faced in developing and finalising the SEA, and provide tips for others looking to develop their own Strategic Environmental Assessment for the first time.

Kelly is 39 years old, married and has a 6-year-old daughter.
Kelly started her career in Transport in 2002, working for Essex County Council, she then did a 20-month secondment from Essex County Council to the Department for Transport in 2005-2007. In 2008 she returned to Scotland and worked for Fife Council, primarily working on school travel plans. In 2009 she moved to Aberdeenshire Council working in Sustainability and then Continuous Improvement and moved to her current role at Nestrans the Regional Transport Partnership for the North East of Scotland in 2016. Kelly has a keen interest in the Environment and Transport. In her spare time, she enjoys running.
