A Caring Culture Conquers All

Establishing a caring culture is essential for any business to operate sustainably. This culture however has to extend far beyond just safe working practices. It involves embedding thinking that looks towards employee and societal wellbeing.

WJ have developed several initiatives that aim to support both our employees and the communities that we live and work in. By empowering employees to pursue causes close to their hearts, our Thinking Community has now inspired over 15,000 lives. We hope this can act as a catalyst for industry collaboration to help support our communities through our unique resources and expertise.

In November 2018, we took over 140 employees to our “New Directions” conference, splitting into 14 diverse, cross-functional teams, mixing skills and experience to consider how we could improve performance aligned with our objectives. The programme has harnessed the energy and drive of our finest talent giving them space to develop new and innovative ways of working and has facilitated greater collaboration between colleagues on a scale we have not seen before.
