The CIHT Foundation depends for its funds on contributions from collections at CIHT events. The Annual Luncheon (2018) raised over £3,000 for the Foundation and the Awards Dinner (2019) over £500. CIHT's Regions and Nations also raise funds at their annual dinners.

Rwanda Aid £5,000 to fund improvements the condition of the existing road to Mwagera, thereby providing reliable access for the construction of 6 new school classrooms, whilst developing road building skills in the local community. The current road to the rural community is along an unmade track, over 5km long, which becomes impassable for motorised transport under heavy rain conditions. In order to provide reliable access for vehicles, road improvement works are essential.
