There are several benefits to joining your regional committee including:
We are always on the lookout for new committee members to keep us fresh, focused and relevant to our membership. We look to include a broad representation from across the relevant sectors – central and local government, transport and service providers, private sector consultancy and contractors and academia.
Involvement in the committee will count towards Continuing Professional Development and can lead in the longer term to involvement in national CIHT activities.

2024 - Presidential visit
CIHT Republic of Ireland were delighted to host Professor Glenn Lyons, CIHT President for 2024/25, for his first visit as CIHT President.
Over two days in June, Glenn had the opportunity to visit Dublin and meet CIHT members from the Republic of Ireland, colleagues from across the sector and masters students at Tu Dublin, with two technical visits delivering CPD and learning.
