CIHT's Research & Innovation Partners are selected universities and colleges with relevant resource and knowledge, looking to build closer relationships with industry.
Our Research & Innovation Partners offer the connection between industry and academia through sharing their research and active participation in discussions, workshops and consultations.
They benefit from direct communication with industry Partners, access to possible funding opportunities, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Network.
CIHT Research & Innovation Partners have the opportunity to submit requests for funds from CIHT Foundation, to offer awards to their students under the specified criteria for four prizes for best performance in a highways or transportation related: Final Year project, Apprentice in a Degree or Graduate Apprenticeship dissertation or project, MSc or MEng dissertation or assignment, PhD student outstanding performance.
The Foundation was created by CIHT to receive charitable donations from collections and other appeals to distribute to activities and projects that we can support as part of our charitable aims. The focus is on educational or innovative proposals that advance the art and science of highways and transportation. The funds raised go into a restricted CIHT account so that they can only be used strictly for this purpose.
