Overview

The Myton Swing Bridge carries the A63 over the River Hull. The structure is 32m wide and carries two lanes in each direction. Essential repairs were required, including bridge bearing replacement, resurfacing, bridge joint replacement, waterproofing and barrier and lighting improvements.

This seminar will include an overview of the project, highlighting some of the engineering challenges and how the project team overcame these challenges.

This event is open to both members and non-members of CIHT. It will be of particular interest to designers, planners, consultants and contractors.  It will be of interest to everyone at all stages their career.
