A series of Free CIHT Member workshops throughout the UK
From September to December
The world is in a state of flux socially, technologically, economically, environmentally and politically. What lies ahead over the next decade in relation to climate change? What does this mean for professionals and organisations in the highways and transportation sector?
CIHT CLIMATES is a new initiative that is exploring possible futures for transport and the environment and what the implications for professionals and organisations in the highways and transportation sector.
Led by CIHT President Professor Glenn Lyons and sponsored by Mott MacDonald. CIHT Climates will:
· Help transportation professionals understand their priorities in the face of future climate change, covering both actions we will need to take and the skills we will need to deliver them; and
· Give CIHT members a greater voice in how the Institution champions its climate action theme.
All CIHT members can contribute to CIHT CLIMATES. It is also a great opportunity to learn from fellow professionals and for them to learn from you.
There are multiple ways to take part.
A series of eight one-day face-to-face workshops will be held around the UK
