In this webinar, you will hear from Jane Maclennan who has been an IEng reviewer for the past year, having achieved IEng registration herself in 2018. Jane will provide an insight of what reviewers look for from IEng candidates in their Portfolio of Evidence submission and what to expect at your interview.

With over 20 years’ experience under her belt, Jane is an Incorporated Engineer who specialises in road safety and structural maintenance projects on the Trunk Road Network. She has also been a CIHT reviewer for 1 year and helps to lead Waterman Aspen’s Scotland team as an Area Manager. Currently, Jane is seconded to Dumfries and Galloway Council's Engineering Design Team as a Project Coordinator for two footbridge replacement projects and a lead engineer for several other road safety related schemes, ensuring safer journeys for all.
Kulwant is a Civil Engineer at AtkinsRealis, with 14years of experience in highways engineering across different geographies the UK, Middle East, and Scandinavian region. Within UK market he has significant experience in Local Transportation and Strategic Highways projects. He is currently responsible for delivering multiple schemes under Collaborative Performance Framework (CPF) within National Highways East Region Design and Service Contract. He successfully gained Incorporated status in October 2023. His work experience includes highway design and modelling, risk assessment and project management.
Stephen is a Civil Project Engineer at SSEN Transmission, with nearly ten years’ experience across energy, highways and transportation projects. He is currently responsible for the delivery of Civil elements on HV substation and overhead line transmission projects. His day to day working includes site optioneering, route assessments, SuDS, earthworks, roads and buildings. He successfully gained Incorporated status in April 2023 and on receipt of this, received the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation’s (CIHT) Award for ‘Outstanding Professional Review Candidate’ with subsequent publication in Transportation Professional magazine.
