Join this free lunchtime webinar to learn more about the implementation of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) with SuDS expert Sue Illman and Michael Whitehead from National Highways.
Join this lunchtime masterclass to expand your knowledge on the implementation of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDs).
During this masterclass you will:
Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) uses green infrastructure and to reduce the likelihood of flooding from surface water by holding back water prior to discharging into the water system it is connecting into (a river water course or sewer or wider drainage network).
SuDS are an important tool in mitigating flood risks and managing stormwater locally, as well as improving water quality and can include proprietary solutions and nature based solutions.
This webinar will be beneficial for you to gain the basic knowledge on what SUDs are, where they can be implemented and how. At the same time, you will gain insight knowledge on issues such as retrofitting, maintenance and making the business case to implement SUDs.
This webinar is open and free to CIHT Members and CIHT Partner Employees. This webinar is for those who have an interest in SUDs, green and blue infrastructure and water management.
