Join us for this informative webinar which will focus on how TRICS is adapting and evolving to continue to meet the needs of its user organisations.
This event is organised by the CIHT North West region.
Ian Coles, Managing Director of TRICS Consortium Limited, will present how TRICS is adapting and evolving to continue to meet the needs of its user organisations. Topics include the TRICS 8 system redesign, the potential application of Artificial Intelligence to enhance the system’s wealth of data, and the TRICS data collection programme, including the Standardised Assessment Methodology for monitoring developments with Travel Plans.
There will also be information provided on two much-anticipated research projects into construction traffic at residential SAM developments, and a study of servicing and delivery activity at residential apartments in London.
TRICS is the system of trip generation analysis for the UK and Ireland. First launched in 1989, it is an integral and essential part of the Transport Assessment process, and through continuous investment and development it has expanded into a comprehensive database of traffic and multi-modal transport surveys, covering a wide range of development types.
The system allows its users to establish potential levels of trip generation for their development scenarios using a series of database filtering processes, and it is widely used by both transport planning consultants and local authorities (the latter of which use TRICS to audit Transport Assessments).
This event is open to both members and non-members of CIHT. It will be of particular interest to Transport Planners, Development Management/ Control Officers, Traffic Engineers and Traffic Modellers.
