Celebrate International Women’s Day with Us!
Join us as at this event in collaboration with Women in Transport West Midlands, as we come together to honour, uplift, and celebrate the incredible achievements of women this International Women’s Day. This year’s theme is “What International Women’s Day means to you”.
The panel will be discussing inspirational stories, challenges and barriers in their careers. As we understand this event is in Ramadan, we will be providing food for breaking fast.
Anyone working or interested in Highways and Transportation in West Midlands.

Chloe Williams - Regional Lead Women in Transport WM and Associate at Arup Chloe Williams is an experienced transport professional with industry recognised experience in Travel Demand Management and Travel Behaviour Change. Chloe is a chartered member of CILT and Chairs the CILT TDM forum. She has over 14 years’ experience working within both the public and private sectors. Chloe is currently an Associate at Arup and is the UK Travel Behaviour Change Lead; technically leading multi-disciplinary teams on client projects. Chloe is an advocate for equity in transport; championing inclusive public engagement to reduce socioeconomic disparities and works to empower and advocate for women in the transport industry. Chloe is currently the West Midlands Regional Lead at Women in Transport. |

Georgina Knockton - Roads Academy/Partner at EY Georgina is an experienced consultant with a track record in People Change and Transformation, Operational and Programme Delivery. Georgina has a wealth of experience in delivering complex projects and change programmes across a multitude of sectors, nationally and globally. |

Holly Clapp - Junior Consultant at Arcadis Holly is a junior consultant, currently completing a transport planning degree apprenticeship at Arcadis. Her experience includes stakeholder engagement, assistant project management, and business case development on a variety of transport strategy and new mobility projects. Holly is a member of the CIHT women network and is passionate about acting as a voice for emerging professionals. |

Louise Smith - Head of Client and Customer Experience at WSP Louise has been Head of Client and Customer Experience at WSP for 3 years where together with her team, they focus on feedback and insight and delivering CX-focused learning and development, helping to create easy and enjoyable experiences for WSP’s clients. Prior to this, Louise spent 18 years in a variety of product, brand and corporate marketing roles and more recently, digital innovation and customer insight, at Tarmac. |

Nora Taylor - Client Development Director at Arcadis Nora graduated in the 1990s with a degree in Quantity Surveying and began her career with contractors before spending two years traveling and working in Sydney. She joined Arcadis in 2001, contributing to the Heathrow Terminal 5 project and leading consultancy services for global and UK clients. Transitioning to sales for the National Highways account in 2017, she became Sales Director for Places UK & Ireland in 2021. Nora champions diversity, founding an Arcadis’ Women’s Network and the Women in Client Development Network which continues today. She mentors young entrepreneurs through the King’s Trust and serves on the Lovinklaan Foundation Board, an employee led foundation who is Arcadis’ largest shareholder, supporting Arcadis’ continuity and employee development. |

Susan Broadbent - Senior Divisional Director at Jacobs Susan is a Senior Divisional Director at Jacobs. She is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers, and the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation. She is also an active member of both Institutions working as a volunteer with Committees and Panels. Susan has accumulated three decades of technical expertise and leadership roles on a variety of challenging high-profile infrastructure and building projects across the UK, Asia and Africa. The majority of her work over recent years has involved multi-disciplinary transportation schemes with more focus on bridges. |

Jodie Rowbottom - Programme Management and PMO Business lead at Severn Trent Water Jodie Rowbottom is a Fellow of the CIHT and an active member of the APM. In 2019, she served as the Chair of the West Midlands CIHT and has been a strong advocate for the Women In Transport initiative. With a robust background in Highways, Rail, and Aviation, Jodie transitioned to Severn Trent in 2021, where she took on the responsibility of leading large capital delivery programmes across Waste Infrastructure and Waste Treatment. In 2024, she advanced to the role of Head of Programme Management and Project Management Office at Severn Trent, where she is now preparing to support the delivery of the AMP8 £6.4 billion investment programme. |
