Walk the streets of Leeds with the CIHT President! Join Professor Glenn Lyons and local tour guide Rachel Unsworth for a two-hour tour that’ll leave you with a much richer understanding of Leeds than you’d get from just an App or a map. On this transport-oriented tour, you will have the chance to meet the CIHT President, and “NetWalk” with other transport professionals in a relaxed setting as we hear the stories of Leeds’ transport development – and its future.
What is NetWalking? NetWalking is walking or wheeling while networking. It is a chance to experience some of the sights of Leeds whilst meeting new people as you travel between them.
Please bring sensible footwear, warm layers and waterproofs with you if attending this event, the approximate length of the tour will be 2 – 2.5 hours and will be largely on urban streets with small inclines. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us at regions@ciht.org.uk
