CIHT East Midlands is excited to offer this opportunity to visit the National Highways East Midlands Regional Control Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for CIHT members and non-members to understand the workings of a National Highways regional control centre. Attendees will get to hear about the duties of traffic officers on and off the road, a tour of the patrol vehicles, as well as the control room practice.
The visit will also provide insight into how National Highways monitor and keep the roads network moving, the systems in place, and how they deal with any incidents.
Light refreshments will be provided and this should offer a good opportunity for networking amongst attendees and National Highways representatives. Spaces are limited for this session so please book in advance to secure your space.
The event is targeted at anyone who wants to know the working of a typical National Highways regional control centre to solve any traffic issues and the role of the traffic officers. It is open to both CIHT Members and Non-Members.
