At the AGM, CIHT’s CEO Ms. Sue Percy CBE gave a presentation on the latest developments with CIHT through a video recording. This was followed by the Chair of CIHT Hong Kong, Mr. Raymond Pau, who summarised the events organised over the past 12 months including the Half-Day Seminar, post-conference workshops on New Urban Mobility, and class talks in universities.

Afterwards, members voted to elect five current / new committee members and appoint Officers in the Session 2024/2025 – Mr. Alan Yan as the 1st Vice Chair, Mr. Michael Wong as the 2nd Vice Chair, Mr. Mark Ngan as the Treasurer and Mr. Alan Chan as the Secretary. The AGM was concluded by a speech from CIHT President Ms. Karen McShane, also in video recording.

The 2024 Annual Dinner with over 150 participants was kicked off following the AGM. This year, Legislative Council Members Hon LO Wai Kwok SBS MH JP and Hon Frankie YICK Chi Ming SBS, as well as Highways Department Project Manager, Major Works Mr. Patrick NG were our Guests of Honour.

The dinner brought together a diverse array of attendees including Mr. Eric Ma GBS JP, amongst CIHT Hong Kong past chairs, speakers from the Half-Day seminar, representatives from professional institutions, sponsoring companies, and student representatives. Adding to the joyous atmosphere, Hon LO played his diamond saxophone. The annual dinner reached its climax when CIHT Hong Kong Mr. Jacky Yeung, Mr. Paul He, and Ms. Rachel Pang delivered a live band performance.
