The Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification is run jointly by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and the Transport Planning Society (TPS) to recognise the competence of transport planners. Through a Portfolio of Evidence and Professional Review interview, candidates must show they have the knowledge, skills and experience to demonstrate a sufficient depth and breadth of competence in transport planning. By achieving TPP, the successful candidates are now eligible to be registered as Chartered Transport Planning Professionals
