CIHT will be liaising with the British Standards Institution over the summer to understand the best way for CIHT as an Institution to become more heavily involved in the work of BSI Committees.  This will include a presentation at the next Learned Society & Technical Strategy Board by BSI.

BSI’s National Standard Body consider the “development, publication, promotion, licensing, sales and distribution of British Standards, European Standards, International Standards, and any other standards-type documents produced by the European & International Standards Bodies.”

Although working and contributing to the work of BSI is voluntary, CIHT would encourage its membership to consider getting involved on an individual basis with the development of standards.

For further information you can read about BSI here and how to get involved here.
