Today sees the launch of Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (3-7 November 2014). This week aims to change perceptions of engineering among young people (focusing on 11-14s), their parents and teachers.

The launch today will see talented young people demonstrating their amazing engineering and science projects to MPs and businesses this afternoon at the Houses of Parliament.

More details about all of the activities taking place are available here

Sue Stevens, Director of Education & Membership said:

“We are pleased to support Tomorrow’s Engineers Week. Effective transport networks are essential for a successful economy and what makes them work are the people who plan, design, build and operate our transport infrastructure and services. Tomorrow’s Engineers Week is a great way of encouraging the next generation to consider a career in our industry.”
