For any CIHT Members wishing to attend the West Midlands Annual General Meeting (AGM), this will take place prior to the Awards Dinner from 6:00pm - 6:30pm, please arrive at 5:45pm to enable you find the room, take your seat and for the AGM to commence on time. The AGM will be held in the Diamond Suite at the Burlington Hotel.
For any guests who are not attending the AGM, please arrive at 6.45pm.
6:00pm - 6:30pm: CIHT West Midlands Annual General Meeting 2024 (all voting CIHT Members welcome to join)
6:45pm: Bar open and arrival of guests for the West Midlands Awards Dinner
7:30pm: All guests to be seated
7:40pm: Dinner to be served
If you would like to attend the West Midlands AGM but do not wish to attend the CIHT West Midlands Awards Dinner as well (which is being held on the same evening), please choose the free AGM only ticket. In addition to our awards ceremony this year we will be holding a raffle to support the Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Tickets for the charity raffle will be sold at the awards ceremony and dinner on 8th May with all proceeds of the charity raffle being donated. If you are able to donate a gift to include in our charity raffle, please contact: westmidlands@ciht.org.uk

Join us for the 2025 CIHT West Midlands Annual General Meeting. This will be held in-person at the Diamond Suite of the Burlington Hotel at 6:00pm - 6:30pm. This will take place prior to the CIHT West Midlands Annual Awards Dinner.
Come along and support your local committee, learn about what’s happening in your area, plans for the future, and meet fellow CIHT members.
The AGM will see Matthew Moss, CIHT West Midlands Chair reflect on the past year and the successes of the region. The AGM will see the election of new committee members and will also see the appointment of the Chair and Officers to take forward the region’s plans for the next year.
If you wish to join the AGM but not the awards dinner, please use the "AGM only ticket" option.
There are lots of benefits of getting involved with your local committee; CIHT’s regions and nations play a critical role for the Institution, acting as a focal point for members to meet and share their experiences locally. The regions and nations organise an annual programme of activities, which include CPD opportunities, seminars, site visits and social events.

Examples of excellence in collaborative team work and problem solving in the highways and transportation industry in the West Midlands.

Examples of innovative problem solving in the highways and transportation industry in the West Midlands. Innovation or research entries must have been active or completed in financial years 2023/24 or 2024/25. Entries must clearly explain how the submission meets the criteria specified.
This Award celebrates CIHT Members including Apprentices, Graduates, entry level professionals and those early in their career/career change professionals, with less than 10 years relevant experience who are making a valuable contribution to highways or transportation in the West Midlands and establishing themselves as a positive role model for the industry.
